Product Care
All Bundgaard products are designed to accompany children through the many experiences of everyday life. With the right care, you can preserve both the product’s appearance and the features it was designed to have.
Whether your child wears leather shoes, rubber boots, or rainwear, a little regular care helps the product function as intended.

Leather
Leather is a natural material that benefits from regular care. With proper maintenance, it retains both its appearance and its natural properties.
Before use
· Waterproof your shoes 1–2 times before wearing them.
Ongoing Care
· Remove dirt with a damp cloth or a soft sponge.
· Let the shoes dry naturally at room temperature.
· Condition the leather regularly with leather grease.
· If necessary, use a shoe polish in the same color to refresh the leather.
· Finish with a new layer of waterproofing.
If the shoes get wet
Let them dry completely before wearing them again. Avoid radiators or other heat sources, as heat can damage both the materials and the fit.

Natural Rubber
Natural rubber contains natural oils that gradually evaporate over time. Regular care helps preserve the rubber’s suppleness as well as its appearance and function.
Ongoing Care
· Clean with a damp cloth or a soft sponge.
· For heavier soiling, the boots can be washed with mild soap and water.
· Let the boots air dry.
· Condition with a product designed for natural rubber or a neutral oil.
· Wipe off any excess conditioner with a clean, dry cloth.
If the boots get wet
Remove the insoles and let both the boots and the insoles air dry. Store rubber boots in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.
