Piccolo is based on our very first shoe in the Petit family and designed as a modern beginner’s shoe featuring Bundgaard’s iconic fit. The shoe has a retro-inspired look with contrast stitching on the side that highlights its classic design heritage.

The shoe is made of LWG-certified leather and suede with a soft, vegetable-tanned leather lining that provides a natural and comfortable fit. The durable TPR outsole features dual flex zones that follow the foot’s movement, ensuring both flexibility and stability. All materials are selected for their quality, durability, and comfort.

The Piccolo features a firm heel counter that supports the foot and a spacious forefoot that allows for the toes’ natural movement. The flexible barefoot sole promotes a healthy foot posture, while the adjustable Velcro closure ensures a snug and stable fit. A beginner’s shoe crafted with Bundgaard’s commitment to function, comfort, and craftsmanship.

Every Bundgaard shoe is made with leather sourced from LWG-certified manufacturers, all of whom have earned a high rating in their LWG Audit.

The LWG protocol is used to evaluate the environmental impact of leather producers, Medal ratings are determined based on industry practices, with gold awarded at 85%, silver at 75%, and bronze at 65%. A minimum score is required in each section to achieve the final medal rating.
